High profile experts have been singing the praises of voice over internet protocol (voIP) this week, including a telemarketing expert and an audiovisual specialist.
They consider the benefits of the telecoms technology to be wide-ranging, but focus on the cost and convenience benefits, along with the environmentally friendly credential.
Firstly, Martyn Davies, the telecoms consultant at Weird Crater, said that the benefits of voIP made it the perfect business investment. The website Telappliant then asserted that KC, a major telecoms marketing firm that has won a £1.3 million contract to make 50,000 calls per year on behalf of Social and Market Strategic Research, should use voIP technology.
The site suggested, "KC may find that the cheapest and most efficient way to tackle the task is to run voice over internet protocol (VoIP) solutions, providing workers with a reliable and cost-effective telephony set-up."
Meanwhile, with the increasing popularity of video conferencing, combined with ever-increasing pressure for businesses to go green, voIP can be the perfect solution.
